Youth Studio Memberships

Give their ideas a place to grow.

You know that moment when your child lights up explaining an idea? Give that curiosity somewhere to go. Guild Hall brings young makers together with instructors, creative peers and the tools to turn ‘what if’ into something they can build, test and proudly explain.

More than a project for the afternoon.

Regular studio time gives an interest room to develop. A learner can explore a new technique, work through a stubborn problem and return with another idea to try. Instructors help connect those ideas to practical skills, with guidance matched to the maker’s stage. Mini, Jr and Senior Maker offer different starting points within the same creative community.

Children practice turning an idea into a plan, selecting materials and testing what they make. With each project, they have another opportunity to ask questions and make decisions of their own.

A pathway for every stage of making.

Jr Maker

Guided coding, robotics and engineering for kids ready to design projects around their interests.

Senior Maker

A creative studio for teens ready to go further with engineering, code, fabrication and original projects.

Real tools. Room to experiment.

From a motor and sensor to a robot that moves, children connect ideas to something they can see and test. Coding, design and practical construction give mathematics and science a purpose within a project.

Equipment and activities are matched to age, readiness, location and instructor guidance.

From choosing a component to explaining a decision.

A stocked studio opens up choices. Mentors help children understand what a part does, try a sensible approach and use what they learn to improve the next version.

Progress you can see beyond the finished project.

  • Confidence: practice explaining an idea and taking ownership of a solution.
  • Persistence: test, notice what went wrong, and make a thoughtful adjustment.
  • Collaboration: share tools, listen to another approach and ask for useful feedback.
  • Independence: break a bigger challenge into manageable steps with support.

Look for progress in how your child approaches a challenge, describes a choice or returns to a project.

Creativity has more than one shape.

A playful design can invite just as much thinking as a robot. Materials, colors and textures offer different ways to explore an idea and discover an interest worth pursuing.

A few things parents ask.

Can we try the studio before joining?

Yes. Start with a Free PASS to experience the space and meet the team. Choose from the available Free PASS sessions, then talk with us about membership sessions, pricing and the right next step for your child.

How do we choose the right age group?

These membership age groups are a starting point. Trial sessions can use different age bands, and placement also depends on experience and readiness. Tell us your child’s age and interests when booking so we can help you choose.

Does my child need to know how to code?

An interest in making is a useful starting point. Tell us what your child has tried and what excites them; instructors can help identify a suitable entry point, whether that is hands-on building, coding or design.

Which tools will they use?

Tools depend on the pathway, project, location and learner readiness. Talk with the team about a specific interest before booking; the equipment shown here represents the wider studio experience.
